@smtravis@bcpsleonardi Except when you include the staff that is there just to support them, the building they sit, etc...that savings skyrockets. Sell the building and put them out in empty campus space
@schadjoe "In regards to Tua, whose decision is it on what will be done with him? Will he be given a chance to compete for the QB job, or will the decision to move in a different direction be made before the players step back on the field?"
That has to be the biggest question.
@flasportsbuzz@TomPelissero If he is the guy they could hire him as soon as they satisfy the Rooney Rule requirement. However, the Dolphins don't seem to be in a hurry to do that. 🤷♂️
He's only been the GB DC for 2 years, so he doesn't seem to have a long association with Sullivan.
@JoeRoseShow
Dolphins fan here since 1970. We want players like Marino and McDuffie who are supremely confident, but McDaniel has to take the FG. Would Schad be saying the same thing if Wash K had hit the FG and the Fins got the L.
@davehydesports If you have been paying attention, the ending wasn't a surprise. I've come to expect this from Tua/McDaniel/Dolphins the last couple of years. The signature wins during the Tua/McDaniel tenure are few. Both of them are great people, but this is the NFL.
@MattInfante Jonnu Smith had a great year, but he took a lot of targets that should have gone to Tyreek. I think the offense would be better suited with a more well-rounded TE...aka a Michael Mayer. I'd be ok with a Ramsey for Mayer deal.
@OmarKelly So you're saying they won't even discuss a player they've pulled off their board? So a 1st round talent (in general) doesn't come back into the discussion if they're sitting around in the 5th round? I would disagree with that, but ok.
@OmarKelly According to Chris Grier they had 160 players on their board. I would infer that he wasn't on their board at all, because if they had a 1st/2nd round grade on him it would've been a no-brainer. Once it got that late, they had a convo about him.
@B_Shousejr Imaging if there was only one day a year where shoes went on sale, but you couldn't buy them. You can only pick them in reverse order of who has the most to spend.
@OmarKelly Maybe you know Chris Grier speak, and he meant to rule it out, but the words he used didn't rule it out. I hope he doesn't, and don't think he will, but....
@OmarKelly
No trades. Doubled down on S early. I don't think McCord will last to 5th, but he was there in my draft. There are some projects later on...
