@For_Film_Fans I once worked on a film in London where at lunch, he queued with the rest of the crew and on one particular day he was joined by one of the producers (Spielberg) and the principle cast (Matt Damon)
All just waiting in line with the crew

@dpdevins @OliLondonTV I would argue that instead of loosing the plot they have simply handed control to accountants and streaming services to make sure that money can be written off because they can manipulate tax, insurance and stocks to build bigger profits

But this was 100% a vanity project for the Director
My guess is the people with money behind it are hoping to break even but not unhappy with a loss just so long as they are able to invest in his future films where they think they will make money

I hope is does well, a lot of effort went into making, it employed thousands of people (including myself)
