Too many kids have been taught that the goal of High School sports is to achieve an ATHLETIC scholarship.
Here is the truth:
The goal is to become a better person, better teammate & enjoy your time being a teenager…something you can’t get back.
The rest takes care of itself.
If you’re kid is undersized it’s important to remember 10-year olds aren’t the same when they’re 14 and 14-year olds aren’t the same when they’re 18. ALL KIDS DEVELOP AT DIFFERENT TIMES. Let ‘em grow, compete & come into their own!
I know HS soccer doesn't get the recruiting love that club does, but I rarely hear young women get as excited and emotional talking about their club teams as they do their HS games and teams.
HS soccer allows me to evaluate so much about a person outside of soccer
