1.Neutral stimulus- Stimulus that does not cause a reaction at first. But when repeated, it will cause a reaction and eventually become a conditioned stimulus. Ex. Bell 🔔
3.Conditioned stimulus- stimulus that is repeatedly paired with the unconditioned stimulus until it causes the same response. Ex. Bell - when dogs started to salivate for the bell 🔔 💧
I, Ivan Pavlov, a behaviorist in psychology, am the best psychologist. I have discovered that behaviors can be inflicted and it can be used as a therapeutic technique to change negative behaviors.

without me, behaviorism in psychology involving humans might not have become as popular or gotten its own branch in the psychology field🫡 my ideas shifted the focus and paved the way for new opportunities and ideas🗣️🔥🔥 #noonetopswatson -watson
i’m known for my research on the classical conditioning process, and also for the fact that i popularized the theory of behaviorism👩❤️💋👩🤞🏻because of me, the focus in the psychological field shifted from the mind to behavior🥱 -watson
my theory is that all behavior is learned through conditioning, and a child’s environment is what shapes their behaviors, not genetic makeup or natural temperament✋🏻🙄 -watson
shout out to vladimir bekhterev and ivan pavlov😻 their research on behavior and reactions in animals inspired me, since i believed that their ideas about how things affected animals could apply to humans too, and i was right💪🏻‼️ -watson
