@escapefrommelos The pressure on JD makes sense precisely because the difference is minor. If there is any politician you can get concessions from it's the one who already mostly agrees with you and just needs a little nudging. The bar for JD is set so low it's almost symbolic: don't condemn us.
@Nikos_17 Needless to say, capitalism requires the rule of law and institutional protections of property rights that persist through governments. A one-man show gets you Georgia.
@Nikos_17 I think Milei would be the exception to that basic rule if he won over Argentina with the aura of, say, George Bush Senior. He embodies the qualities of the other LatAm revolutionaries. He is of a political type that thrives in LatAm cultures.
Nick's vision for America is one rooted in a white racial core. This is idiosyncratic and would immediately provoke curiosity in someone "who just wants to understand where you're coming from". Why not pick his brain on this and scrutinise along the way?
Nick's reason for having been gatekept from conservatism is his race realist (aka racist) stance. This is the essence of his brand and the elephant in the room. Rather than address it, Tucker just asserts the standard individualist argument and nudges Nick to agree. That's it.
@MatthewtrueI@AdamTheRandian >I could say objectivism is incoherent if you prefer.
How about you just think a little when you're generating your tweets, because "hypocrisy" and "incoherence" are actually very different and unrelated concepts and you shouldn't use them interchangeably based on what I prefer.
@MatthewtrueI@AdamTheRandian You don't get to define our ideology for us then call us hypocrites for violating its tenets. We never claimed your premises. We are not in the same movement as you at all.
@MazMHussain Westerners are uniquely genuine in our belief in good and evil. Due to our humanist heritage we genuinely love life, and we ascribe different levels of moral worth to people by that measure. A clown who reacts to massacre with jubilation should be ridiculed in life and in death.
@CameronRuggles@PerBylund Classical liberals don't have a problem with states as such, and that's our disagreement with you. You pretend we share the same premises then engage in word games. This is idiocy.
@sarahcstock The Free Press produces article-based independent journalism for 100,000 paying subscribers. You regurgitate unoriginal ideas, engage in memetic warfare, and contribute to internet drama.
American exceptionalism is that it's history's first and most true-to-form economic zone. From its beginnings a magnet of people whose career and economic ambitions outweighed loyalties to ethnicity or king.
Thank you for existing.
