@disneyplus your gift subscription is awful and your customer service is worse. What should have been a nice birthday gift has become hours of wasted time on the phone, and now you even refuse to refund the money. Appalling.

@DisneyPlusHelp Apparently the code doesn't exist!? Also apparently an account has already been created against the email in the UK (not true). Also several emails were tried.

Apparently the refund can't be issued until the gift is redeemed. Ridiculous!
