@Blitz_Burgh Yes but who would take him. Overrated TE and a bloated contract. His success in MIA was a byproduct of Waddle/Hill and Tua checking down every other play. Trade if they can otherwise cut him. Waste of money to take away plays from easily the 2nd beat hand on the team in Muth.

@ChrisMuellerPGH I think a team can have difference so long as they share a goal. If the shared vision was truly to win a SB and give 100% every game, then fine. Inside the "4 walls" they need to be a team with a shared goal. Outside those walls, I don't care if they like each other or not.

@KDPomp If he kicks butt in ST against MLB level pitching, yes. If he shows some signs of struggle (I'm doubting it) send him to Indy to fine tune. Ultimately, yes, I want to see him Opening Day but I want him to be comfortable and confident he can play his game at the MLB level.

@KodyDuncanPGH The trades/signings are good (not great). 2027 is likely a lost season. Lowe likely leaves, Ozuna likely leaves, and in 2028 we could see then last hoorah of Skenes. I just think breaking the bank now would've been the way to go. Yes, though, I am. I'm a fan thick or thin.

@Jason_Shetler I initially felt good about it, then I read that he is a .223 hitter with only 1 HR at PNC Park. Now I'm a little "meh" about it.

Also, as a fan, sad that it officially ends the McCutchen era. Not that I wanted to resign Cutch but still, an end of an era.

@KodyDuncanPGH @Chandler_Rome They'll be so close.. great offer but Red Sox offer their number 347th best prospect and that's just too much for GMBC to match. Oh so close.

Paredes is an impressive player, I'm thinking Vientos would be the better option though.
