we spent 20 years building the best rendering engine humanity has ever made, then handed coding agents a vt100 and called it the future. ink is react diffing a virtual dom into ansi escape codes. we rebuilt the browser, badly, inside a terminal emulator. tuis for agents are cosplay.
We’ve confirmed a KVM 0day through our Vercel Sandbox bounty program. Affecting the industry’s gold standard solution for Linux virtualization.
2026 is wild! Thankful to Paulos and other researchers helping us make the most secure sandbox for agents. Full writeup coming.
the majority of sandbox platforms are sleeping on storage. booting a vm was never a big deal and networking was a solved problem. fork is a metadata op, attach is a queue setup, nothing moves until a guest writes. fuse and nfs are not the answer, we can do better. the pieces already exist and they're open source
the people mourning the joy of writing code mostly built careers on gatekeeping and style opinions. code is a means to an end. it exists to solve problems. this is the best time ever to be an engineer who actually likes hard problems.
