If anything when ppl like Piers Morgan, Candace Owens, and Tucker Carlson host interviews like this it makes me hate them even more.
Bc it shows me you know how to ask good questions and do research—but choose to intentionally spread misinformation for the right price.
@SANParks@CityofCT At Lion's Head summit the "No Drone" sign has been vandalised and torn down. And sure enough, a foreigner up here flying his drone around on a windy day. Please sort this out ASAP! An annoyance and a serious safety risk.
Chaos at the Midmar Mile in KZN as hundreds of oppressed try to empty the beertent before storming to the US consulate in Durban. Although, Bulls v Stormers at 2 and SA20 final at 17:30. Ok, Monday then.
It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them.
While the Democratic leadership defends the status quo, the American people are angry and want change.
And they’re right.
The DA is entirely premised on one thing:
It’s the clean ANC, minus the liberation thing.
Turns out that cadre deployment is an enticing perquisite of power. Also turns out that patience with political hypocrisy appears low in SA.
You have to show your ID when you go into these res type complexes but he thinks she didn’t have to show one for a national competition? How is someone like this in charge of themselves let alone a whole department
Some advice to @Our_DA. If you do manage to form some kind of coalition with the ANC, now would be a really good time to tighten up your tone and language. You are not some national saviour and the future of this country doesn't hinge on you "rescuing" us. A bit more tact and humility would go a long way as you continue the journey of being "public servants".
The ANC seem to have accepted their fate with dignity and humility, so now would be a good time for you to drop your smug tone and play ball for the greater good of all South Africans.
Whether you like it or not, a lot of people in this country perceive you to be arrogant and disconnected from the average South African lived experience. You can either moan and complain about being "judged by a different standard" or you can just acknowledge that this is somewhat induced by your own actions.
I'm sharing this with you as a passionate South African that wants to see this country fulfil its true potential. I am not a DA hater and I think you do many things well, but humbling yourself in patches and listening to people's criticism has not been your strong point.
I know you will say that if you bow down to everyone's opinion then you will never be able to pick a direction to run in, and I get that, but there's some common denominator points that people are making about you on all ends that you refuse to listen to.
Finally, I really hope you and the ANC can figure out a way to take this country forward. We need economic growth more than anything. We need government to create the necessary conditions for the private sector to grow. We also need government to keep capitalism in check. Ultimately, we need government to be a referee on the pitch without being a player on the field.
South Africa needs the many politicians to put this country first. Best of luck, I think you're all going to need it.
I feel terrible for people like Geordin, Winde, Chris - people who are at the frontlines and toil hard in government and then have to contend with whatever the latest gaffe has been made by their leader & the circlejerking Wilgenhof Boys. Bring back the Laptop Boys, rather.
My campaign @Zackie2024 signed onto a letter to the @IECSouthAfrica because a number of people who voted for me across the City could not meet the deadline for their objections and we supported an extension of the deadline. I now withdraw my name from that letter.
Any number of objections from people who voted for me would not in any way alter the outcome in a material way but the principle is to count every vote. And, this should still happen.
Right now anti-democratic forces aim to discredit a credible result provincially and nationally.
All of us are disheartened by the results for the forces of hate such as MK, the Patriotic Alliance and the Coloured Congress but we accept the will of their voters without question.
These are forces that will destroy our society and no democrat should encourage them faux leftists notwithstanding.
All the DA managed to do in this election was win back 1 percentage point from the FF+. It's on track to get 21.8% of the vote.
When will the party realise that a John- and Helen-led DA will never expand beyond its core base?
