@Guntalk Can't wait to see the answers. I have an SBR I'd love to keep in the car/truck, but my state has laws against having a loaded rifle in vehicles.
NEW: Gun battles and pimp wars have escalated near Aurora Ave N. in Seattle.
That's why elected officials are now caving to community pressure to take immediate action.
Mayor Katie Wilson is shutting down streets between 96th and 102nd to limit shootouts and escape routes for fleeing vehicles.
City Attorney Erika Evans says she wants a prosecutor focused exclusively on Aurora to implement so-called Extreme Risk Protection Orders(ERPO,) which would remove firearms from an individual before charges are filed.
But Councilmember Bob Kettle says enforcing prostitution and drug laws already on the books would be critical in this public safety fight.
Kettle even offered to work on revising the Stay Out of Areas of Prostitution(SOAP) ordinance that Evans refuses to enforce. She says it doesn't work.
“At no point in time did the ease or difficulty in building a gun have any bearing at all on whether someone has the right to build a gun on their own.”
@GunWashington The cynic in me is expecting an update in two weeks: "Claiming they are already doing far too much each term, Roberts has decided to hold over some of the decisions until next term and further reduce their caseload..."
@MorosKostas There is a distinct lack of:
“Er-mer-gerd do you even shoot, bro?”
“You call that a group?”
“You are clearly over/under/sideways-gripping and anticipating the recoil or limp-wristing it and need to buy my new book on how to shoot good!”
@2aHistory I’m not an expert, but I think it depends on whether it is direct threaded, QD mount, etc. mine are both Huxwrx where the muzzle device is torqued on and the silencer is hand-tightened and gets tighter with use, but I’ve heard other types can loosen with use.
