After becoming a father, I couldn’t stop thinking about my mortality. What if I’m not around to see my daughters grow? So I decided to write a book for them that they hopefully won’t have to read for a long time. Follow to see the process of writing and distilling life lessons.
As someone with a career in sales, I think a big part of communication skills is simply coming across as likeable and competent. Smile, be friendly, and if you don’t know the answer to a question, don’t make it up.
People appreciate when you say “I’m not sure, let me double check and get back to you” instead of rambling and bs’ing your way through an answer you clearly don’t know about.
25 year old single me was an asshole. He had unlimited free time and no responsibilities. I’m actually way more productive with my time now because I have so little of it free. If you’re busy all day and you want to find time for hobbies, family, health, etc, then you have no choice but to be very intentional with your time.
@LewisHowes Write your goals down and then write down what habits someone would have to have to be the person that accomplished those goals. Then make those your habits.
