@wisdomXplorer I disagree a bit - having developed depth of awareness leads to understanding & understanding naturally gives the patience for all situations.
Patience isnt the "thing", rather depth if awareness.
Your emotions aren't the enemy.
They're information.
Anxiety tells you where you don't feel safe.
Anger shows you where your boundaries were crossed.
Shame points to the parts of yourself you've learned to reject.
Stop asking, "How do I get rid of this?"
Start asking, "What's it trying to show me?"
Have you ever noticed that the harder you try to change yourself, the more stuck you seem to become?
Most people think transformation comes from trying harder.
But often the effort itself is the problem.
@LewisHowes Often bad habits are old coping mechanisms to keep you safe from failure, embarassment, "death" - until you heal/resolve the underlying emotional mechanics it'll be difficult to have them align with your dreams
@Lilly7862 Realising (trully accepting) that your life will end, allows a shift in perspective to truly prioritise correctly.
For some that's health & family, for others its respect, fame, accolades - no right or wrong here. What is important IS knowing what you want to invest time into
@dane_works@stijnnoorman The thing you've been putting off on taking action on: job cjange, project, hobby, relationship, talking to someone, working iut, losing fat etc
