@Hullccnews The gas pipeline works on air street don’t finish till the end of September. Given you closed chapman st bridge and removed Scott st bridge, how can it be down to residents to find alternative ways into the city centre when the council systematically has removed other routes!

@angus_young61 😂 It reflects the councils attitude towards Hull. Outdated design, not really in keeping with the area, probably over budget, will be obsolete in 2yrs & Will be knocked down and rebuilt in 5yrs

@angus_young61 4.99% council tax increase to cover various costs city wide, inc our failing bridges. Doubt if they even doubled or even tripled it the people of Hull would ever see any benefit due to staggering incompetence at senior level.

@angus_young61 Standard council mindset. Come up with visitor attraction idea. Commission it, almost complete it. Only to fail at the final hurdle. As no river infrastructure thought about! 😂

@angus_young61 Brilliant read! Exposes the challenges facing the council thru various cutbacks etc but for me it shows that they are massively off point when it comes to what a city actually needs! A new museum attraction, queens gardens etc are pointless without proper infrastructure.
