Lien is a Kuki. Vikram was a Meitei.

"It is is deeply saddening. When I remember his untimely death, my heart is shattered. He was a very nice man. During our friendship of almost 40 years, I have never heard him use harsh words to anyone.

May be, some people are jealous or hate our faces. The way they killed him just because they were in large number is very painful.

Our land is, what do I say.... If I say anything, people will not like it. But our land is at disarray.

May be god feels it was time for him to rest in peace and took him away.

Tons of video of SOO Militants openly bragging about killing and attacking civilians are also floating in public domain.

What more do you need to act? Dear @nashokkr are you suggesting you don't trust your own police and NIA?

Such letters reinforces allegations that the Kuki SOO Militants are just a bunch of cheap proxy hired guns by deep state, who has created havoc in the state. Tragically, using our hard earned tax payer's money.

CM @YKhemchandSingh and Dy CM @KipgenNemcha jointly announced in Kangpokpi today the opening of National Highways, and Imphal Guwahati bus services will start shortly.

In gross violation of fundamental rights, Kuki armed groups and CSOs have blocked the National highways for more than 3 years and the Govt had failed to open the highways.

We told you on July 31, 2026 that instructions have been given by the Kuki Militants leaders to Kuki groups to end the crisis.

As Dy CM's husband ST Thangboi/ Semtinthang Kipgen is President of the Kuki Militant group Kuki National Front (KNF), which controls the region, this should be successful, barring opposition by a handful of finge armed groups.
