Hey friends. Earlier this week our neighboring county across the river had a big fire that took out three local businesses.

Even more unfortunate was the timing, because one was also being used to store a 99% ready to go Angel Store (this is what their county does in place of an Angel Tree - a place for underprivileged kids to get some Christmas Presents) that was going to help 300 local kids next week.

The local community has rallied and continues to make donations to try to salvage the Angel Store, but it’s a bit of a time crunch. The kids are scheduled to shop on Monday. We are making a donations and @hotmesshomeschl is is going shopping for the store this weekend. But we thought we’d post here as well if anyone feels led to donate to a good cause in a bad spot.

We know how important these kind of Christmas programs are. @hotmesshomeschl was raised volunteering for our counties version her entire childhood while her parents ran it.

If you’d like to donate our Venmo is posted below. We will personally hand over all donations and will post receipts. I’m also including some links to verify the story. We appreciate anyone who has the means to help out. This is a local effort and the money will be used either to donate directly or to buy additional needed items for this particular program.
