@jamesdevonport I knew crowdfunding would be high risk, what I wasn’t prepared for was dodgy practices by founders (put company into administration and start a new company up the next day under a different name, or selling the company too cheaply etc). I’d never do crowdfunding again.

@makeyoubillions it was always going to happen, Freetrade sells for a knockdown price (£160m) and smaller investors lose out…I’m fortunate that I was early stage but other later crowdfunders will find themselves underwater I’d have thought!
