I just downloaded my archive so I think I'm about done here. I'm over on bloosky, come join me there. I've made so many great friends here over these 16 years, had so many good times, and learned so much from all of you. Dammit this is harder than I thought it was going to be.
@eilperin@sfcpoll@washingtonpost@UofMaryland@AmudalatAjasa@EmGusk This shouldn't be an article about climate change. There's no new information on that. It should be an article about disinformation and millions of people believing a lie in the face of overwhelming evidence. This should be a psychology/sociology article.
My father-in-law is a builder. He is insanely gifted. We were in a cathedral together years ago and I asked him what it would cost to build it today. I will never forget his answer…
“We can’t, we don’t know how to do it.”

I’ve been on Bluesky for 2 days now and it’s good? Definitely smaller and more intimate. I think the invite thing is good at keeping out trolls but also limits scope.
No use whinging about it, @elonmusk. You ignored every warning. You bought a flawed but functioning platform, stripped the safeguards and created a miserable experience for everyone except fascists, deniers and the troll farms hired by destructive industries. What did you expect?
When you willingly cast yourselves as the (checks notes) Nazis trying to kill the American hero who refuses to back down.
Oh, and the scene ends with an American P-51 destroying the Nazi tank
Elon Musk is like a Scooby Doo villain who dresses up as a ghost to scare everyone away from the theme park but forgets that his business is theme parks
