Sometimes the fear of something not being as good as it can possibly be is replaced by the fear of the embarrassment that would happen if I don't finish it all. This usually happens close to the deadline.

I can identify with this. I fear that the sermon or lesson that I haven't begun to prep won't be as good as it should be, so I start to feel too overwhelmed to start.
