@hxnnako may critique man ko sa film like daw ang ibang sidequest sang crew kay shortened (sirens, carybdis and scyla) but ning "critique" nila pang ignorante na tana tapos dugtungan pa sang "bUT iT JuSt caMe oUt tWo daYs Ago"
Anne Hathaway says she’s only received one “perfect” from Christopher Nolan across the three films she’s made with him, admitting she cried and wrote it in her journal afterward.
Matt Damon: Chris has a tendency to be a little circumspect, so when you do a really good job, he tends to go, “Yeah, good. Yeah, all right.” And that’s kind of it. It was pretty funny when we were making it because Zendaya came and did something, and the camera cut. There was this long pause, and Chris said, “Perfect.”
Anne Hathaway: That’s next level.
Matt Damon: I’ve done like three movies with him and never heard that. So, that was an experience.
Brittany Broski: Hey, you’ll get there one day. Keep working.
Matt Damon: I’m trying.
Anne Hathaway: I’m not going to say what I’m about to say… but I’ve also made three films with him, and I have gotten one “perfect.”
Matt Damon: You have?
Anne Hathaway: I got one once.
Matt Damon: God damn it.
Anne Hathaway: I know, I’m sorry! It felt really good. It was amazing. I cried and wrote it in my journal.
Brittany Broski: That’s so sweet. You got to remember it.
Anne Hathaway: Yeah, I actually did go home and write in my journal every day on this one because there was so much happening, and I didn’t want it to turn into a blur. What was the thing you said about preparing for perfection and then letting it go?
Matt Damon: Prepare within an inch of your life.
Anne Hathaway: That’s it. You prepare within an inch of your life, but then you just go, “Okay, this is Chris’s show, and he’s the one who really sees the entire landscape.” So it becomes such a pleasure to let go.
Matt Damon: He’s an easy guy to trust. He really knows what he’s doing.
@hxnnako I think tung passiveness niya sa early scenes niya with Odysseus equate with how Athena as a God interacts with mortals. Add to the fact nga gina challenge and haunt niya si Odysseus (who was also high on lotus flowers) to confront ang sin niya by breaking Xenia as the Sea People
Matt Damon says Christopher Nolan had no idea how to shoot the interior shots of the Trojan Horse scenes in 'The Odyssey' before they filmed it ⚔️
"I said, 'How are you gonna do it?'" He just goes, 'I don't know... we're all just gonna jam into the horse, see what happens"
"That's what is so fun about working with him, as big as the movie is ... he still shoots kind of like an independent film ... he discovers the sequences as they go. It's a really high level of directing"
