@wingoz Usually when someone apologizes, they say "I'm sorry" or "I apologize" somewhere in their statement. Neither of those were stated by you Trey; unless of course you don't really want to apologize.
@sdutzeigler Like basketball teams as well, one call or play does not make a season. Anderson's body of work during the tournament has been solid thus his advancement to the championship game . There is a reason he has worked multiple Final Fours.
@RefObserver17 This is a very solid and balanced list that represents most of the conferences in the FF. I agree with 99% but would replace T. Padilla with M. Pettigrew (respectfully).
@Johnny171414@SethDavisHoops NCAA Men's Rulebook: "Rule 3, Sec. 3, Art. 2. Each team may continue to play with fewer than five players when all other team members are not eligible or able to play."
If a team has eligible players on the bench (which Neb did), they must be inserted into the game to play.
@Johnny171414@SethDavisHoops The refs aren't telling/coaching the players how to inbound the ball or where to shoot the ball. They are managing the game by adhering to the rulebook that requires 5 players from each team be on the court before inbounding the ball.
@AyersRefTracker Having personally operated the replay system being using (DV Sports), I can tell you it does not have all the camera angles that are shown on the TV broadcast. They have to pull up each angle on their own and toggle the slo-mo function. It is slow if you are unfamiliar using it.
@RefObserver17 Rule 1, Sec 1, Art. 1. Basketball is played by two teams of five players each.
The crew is responsible to have 5 players from each team on the floor before the ball is inbounded.
@vjgirardi3@ByPatForde Most refs will blow their whistles immediately after a made basket to ensure the inbounding team has the correct amount of time left to make a play. If it allows a "timeout" while the refs review the monitor, so be it. Having the correct time on the clock is most important.
