@hub34021 I was born in Pontypridd and crossed the bridge many times. I knew about William Edwards and that he'd built the bridge 3 times, but that was about all we knew and were told, and I doubt our teachers knew much more.

@TessaBook_455 Tessa, it took probably 3- 4 years in all, but not constantly writing - doing research, and abandoning earlier attempts, then rethinking and rewriting.
