Why do I choose to stay in the classroom as a teacher?

In 2027, the Artemis III mission will practice docking the Orion spacecraft with two lunar landers in low Earth orbit — the capability we need to return humanity to the Moon’s surface.

@0Beanie05923291 That’s a great point. I think of the Little House on the Prairie books where so much “problem solving” happened just to help them survive & thrive.
When a child sees, or reads, enough examples like that, it becomes part of their mindset.
@Joe_Sanfelippo True. Our principal brought around a snack cart to teachers once a month this year…great idea, but it frustrated me because it was always in the middle of me teaching a lesson.
When you are a teacher, it’s not always easy to see the results.
That’s why I like summer projects, getting your hands dirty, seeing something finished.
