Did I intentionally wear green pants to match my poster? Yes, yes I did. Did it make me feel 100x happier? Yes, yes it did. Such a memorable experience presenting my thesis work at my first in-person conference! :) #SPSP2023

Such a rewarding experience mentoring for SUREP again! Playing a role in creating this opportunity/resource for such bright students who may not otherwise have access to it is the greatest gift. Thank you @Alli_Skinner & all the mentors for another amazing summer session!
Today was the last day of @ugapsychology's 2023 virtual Summer Undergraduate Research Education Program (SUREP) & I wanted to share a bit about how awesome it was. THREAD 1/8

Beyond proud of all the award winners🥳
Last week, I achieved the huge milestone of defending my thesis. Every day I’m reminded of the amazing gift of education that so many people before me did not get the opportunity to experience. Lots of happy tears were shed!
(don’t worry, I changed shoes before the presentation)
THE AMAZING, INTELLIGENT, WONDERFUL, @cmleckfor, WAS CITED IN THE NEW YORK TIMES. Proud lab mate moment :)

Have you wondered who is more likely to ghost? In a new paper in @JoSoPerRel w/ co-first author @NatashaRWood, @RelationScience & Andrew Hale, we found that young adults with a high need for closure may be more likely to use ghosting, but they also hurt worse after being ghosted!
