This is a good logical take , I think a lot fans and media will get answers. For fans none of the answers will be enough to reason for trading Brown . That’s is okay Brown has been a staple for team and tremendous for the city of Boston so this reaction were warranted.
I am a Boston Celtics fan. These are my honest thoughts on the Jaylen Brown trade. I believe this thinking aligns with that of Brad Stevens and the Celtics' brass.

Next season PG has a player option where I think the Celtics lean letting him opt out which gives them cap relief and allow them to continue to build their team with the money they save on George. Long term play but this all depends on if you get Trey Murphy!
Despite how devastating it is to lose such an all time Celtic and break up the Jays my logic is setting in. If the Celtics end up with Trey Murphy I think this makes more sense long term. Trey would fit in the TPE and is younger . PG give you a scorer back and better 3 point Eff.
@NoaDalzell This is a good logical take, people act as if PG is garbage. I would go as far as to say he is more of a complete offensive player. But as he had said multiple times in this video i still would’ve kept JB man. We have to see what the other move will be because i believe there is
My last thought of the night. I’m completely confused on why the compensation was not more . But though PG is 36 he has always been an all around player . Good shot creator , can get to the basket, shoot better from three than JB , good defensive player as well. Let wait and see
BLOCKBUSTER: The Boston Celtics have agreed to trade Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers for Paul George, two first-round picks and two second-round picks, sources tell ESPN.
The Lakers now have no tradeable first-round draft picks over the next 7 years after this sign-and-trade for Walker Kessler.
Los Angeles is now also committed to $475 million between Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves, and Walker Kessler.
@BriMarieD I understand the sentiment on Mitch’s offensive struggles . But i believe it a great fit and move . Brad highlighted Size and speed as important factors. He has size , great rim protector and excellent rebounder. Mazualla has talked about Mitch’s impact Off Reb wise , this works.
@PaulFiore I think the ideas would be to give him like majority of the mins but Queta will probably close out . By the way I’m a Celtics fan just letting it be know
