The sons of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, a Mexican immigrant who was fatally shot by an ICE agent in Houston, Texas, earlier this month, demanded justice for their father and other families who have lost loved ones in ICE-related violence at a congressional hearing on Friday.

ICE has maintained that Salgado Araujo "weaponized" his vehicle during an attempted traffic stop, prompting an agent to shoot him in self-defense. The other men in the van, who remain in ICE custody, have disputed that allegation.
