The simple fact is: these next few months will be challenging and scary. But if there’s one thing this year has taught me, it’s that despite the horrors and abuses of power that we’ve been witnessing, we’ve also been witnessing just how many of us are fed up and doing all we can to push back. So many of us care so deeply about this planet and are fighting to create a more just world. Even yesterday, it’s a big deal that the ICJ confirmed what Palestinians have been saying for the past 57 years: that Israel has indeed been unlawfully occupying Palestinian territory. The evidence of an old dying system is all around us, and it’s inevitable that the dying system will only continue to lash out as it’s nearing its end. No matter what the future may hold, I’m grateful to be in community with so many people who are fighting for liberation so ardently. We will see the fruits of our labor multiply in this life. I believe it deeply. Sending big Love.
