This is a pure bogus, clickbait headline - anyone undocumented DOES NOT QUALIFY for social housing as it is - this is a misrepresentation of the facts to stir up animosity

‘I just need a home’ - homeless Dublin mother of two Sharon O’Connor waiting years for a place of her own. She has metastatic breast cancer and has been living in a bedroom in her parents’ home with her children @fiachragllagher@IrishTimes https://t.co/hXBnD8bOi8
Today is Metastatic Breast Cancer Awareness Day, and we're celebrating the incredible strength of Marion Egan. Every donation supercharges our efforts in finding a cure for Metastatic Breast Cancer. Your support helps empower women like Marion to live life to the fullest.
If journalists are using the term ‘battle’ and ‘losing a battle’ with cancer if someone dies, could they please stop doing it? It’s not a good term. It’s not the right way to describe it, in my opinion.
@damienwlr As a breast cancer survivor who is now living with cancer I find the language around it really important. I have similar views to you around "battle" and "fight". If I die did I not fight hard enough? If I die it's nothing I did or did not do.
@deaconbluemusic What an amazing night. 1989 in the Stadium was my first ever gig (as a 9 year old) and my love for live music grew from there. You guys sounded as good now as you did then 😁
I loved Nell McCafferty because she frightened inadequates. She put her head above the parapet at a time when women were expected to shut up and enter the Calor Housewife of the year. She was fierce and she wouldn’t shut up. She did that for me and for you and for all of us. RIP.
@walls2@Jenrok06 My treatment was successful thankfully. Still in the system and awaiting preventative surgery which is a whole other story but yes doing as well as possible thanks. Speaking out about these things is the only way to bring about education and change as you know yourself.
Well done Sharon - @daisyeater and all who speak about the actual costs of "free" cancer care in Ireland.
Most people are not entitled to a medical card during their treatment so the financial burden is hurdle they must navigate while undergoing difficult treatments.
I need a substitute teacher for tomorrow and possibly Tuesday. No one available through normal channels. DM if interested . Lovely 5th class in Ballinteer. Might suit retired teacher, student teacher, job share teacher or someone on career break #localarrangements#edchatie
