@ymoshah @timfarron I have absolutely no issue with Jewish people or Judaism, I have issues with actions of a state. As I have issues with actions other states. I find the conflation unpalatable and unhelpful to identifying and combating a serious issue.

@Luffydude1 @TomSheldrickITV It's a conflict of interest. A civil servant can't stand for parliament as they're expected to act neutrally in support of the elected administration. You can work for another council and be a councillor elsewhere though.
