Missionaries come to Hindu villages backed by billions in international funding. They tell locals their gods are demons and their practices are backward. They make fake promises and miracle cures to those who convert. It all happens under the banner of religious freedom.

When Hindus resist these conversions or defend their traditions, the narrative flips instantly.

They're labeled as intolerant fundamentalists. The global media reports on the "persecution of minorities." International organizations issue statements of concern. And somehow, the people being targeted for conversion become the aggressors.

Yes, Christians are a numerical minority in India. But those missionaries aren't operating alone in some village. They're backed by massive international organizations, billion-dollar budgets, and institutional support from some of the world's most powerful nations.

The "minority" has more organized global power than the "majority" ever will.

When missionaries call Hindu deities false gods or demonic entities, it's protected as religious expression.

When Hindus push back against these characterizations or create laws against coercive conversion, it's called religious persecution.

Only one group is expected to absorb insults quietly.
Only one group's resistance gets labeled as hate.

Then they tell Hindus to "Be the bigger person". It sounds reasonable but look at what it actually demands: Accept insults to your gods. Allow organized campaigns to convert your community. Stay quiet about the power dynamics at play.

And if you don't—if you resist too loudly—you've proven that you're the intolerant oppressor they always said you were. Over generations, this messaging has done its work.

Many Hindus internalize the idea that defending their tradition is somehow backwards. They've become apologetic about their own culture. They police their own communities to avoid being called fundamentalists.

In the age of information, cultures don't go extinct 'coz of open conquest, but through shame and self-doubt planted from outside.

Hindu communities have no financial or legal backing, their temple funds are hijacked by the government, and they have no political or institutional support.

Calling Hindus the oppressors is like calling an indigenous population oppressors of colonizers simply because there are more of them on their own land.

Conversion campaigns backed by foreign money and colonial legacy aren't the same as organic religious choice and defending your culture from organized erasure isn't extremism. It's survival.

When someone tells you to stay peaceful while they systematically work to eliminate what you hold sacred, they're not asking for peace. They're asking for surrender.

If Hindu self-defense is nationalism, then organized conversion is religious imperialism.

(1) The Associated Press, the world’s leading news wire service, makes no mention of Dipu Chandra Das. We have seen images and videos that are too graphic to share but, shamefully, the @AP does not even mention Das in its article. (2) The @UNHumanRights Commission issued a press release condemning the murder of an Islamist leader but it too made no mention of Das or the persistent violence against minorities. Elite academics will deny #Hinduphobia exists; mock us for asking for recognition of anti-Hindu hate; and accuse us of spreading divisiveness and misinformation.

They will do this with confidence and credibility because of the deliberate omission of Das’ name and murder by the organizations supposed to be global custodians of public records.

You might remember that a few years ago, in 2019, a film starring Akshay Kumar was released — Mission Mangal. The movie received widespread appreciation because it was based on a real-life story, and everyone loved it. The scenes were shown so convincingly on screen that while watching it, one felt like being a part of the Mars Mission team.

I also loved the film. But you may remember there was a scene where a woman scientist named Neha Siddiqui — shown as a religious (Muslim) woman — struggles a lot to find a place to live.

Everywhere she went looking for a rented house, the moment people learned about her religion, she was denied accommodation. I became very emotional watching that. I felt shocked that such a beautiful and talented scientist was refused a house. If you’ve seen the movie, you must have been shocked and angry too — and you should be.

Think about it: a scientist who works tirelessly for the country, and we show such discrimination toward her… how narrow-minded is that?

These thoughts were stuck in my head. After reaching home, I opened the internet and started searching about ISRO. That’s when I found out that ISRO provides apartments for all its scientists and engineers. After learning this, I felt puzzled — if ISRO provides official housing, why would a scientist look for a rented house in the first place?

Then I searched for Neha Siddiqui on Google — but she didn’t appear anywhere. After that I began checking the entire Mars Mission team to see what the real heroes actually looked like.

I went through the names of every member of the mission team, and I didn’t find a single scientist, engineer, or even technician named Neha Siddiqui.
Shocking, right? I felt the same — like a 440-volt shock. There wasn’t even a single Muslim man or woman in the actual team, yet the filmmakers introduced this plot under the name of creative liberty or freedom of expression, showing how a Muslim woman in India is denied a rental house, even if she’s an ISRO scientist.
And on the movie poster, they highlighted that same fictional character with the caption: “Science Has No Religion.”
Yes — this is how slow poison is served. Bollywood knows it very well.
