ok so @damashe and I are curious what you liked and didn't like about the DM Series? feel free to let us know by DM or reply! listen to DM 100 hear if you want! https://t.co/JeKkIm1xfl
Hey @jsnell are you using Eero+ subscription? Curious on your setup mention in Upgrade 434 on having access to your home server with the same url internal and external. If not using Eero+, have you written up what you are doing anywhere?
@adhodgson Hey wanted to follow up about the Ubiquiti networking gear. which screen readers have you used for configuring and what are your general thoughts?
@aaron_h2002@BlindGuyTech@PayOwn I haven't tried Alford in years, I've always liked the features and expandability that people are adding on to it, but I just never really liked the way it felt using it.
@BlindGuyTech@PayOwn@aaron_h2002 There are some specific settings I always configure for launch bar, I'll try to get a list of those put together sometime this weekend and share them somewhere.
@BlindGuyTech@PayOwn@aaron_h2002 So typing tilde will bring up your Home folder, then pressing right arrow you're now browsing your Home folder from within launch bar so you can arrow up and down right arrow to go into folders left arrow to come back out, etc.
@BlindGuyTech@PayOwn I use Hazel for trash and stuff out of the downloads folder after a certain amount of time, cleaning up my reaper temp directories, and other little things like that, such as moving specific downloaded files to certain folders for customers.
Ok, so thanks to @damashe I’m now able to quickly search for things like Audio Described Content on the https://t.co/gYisCGNljQ site. command+space, type ADP and press space, then enter a title to search for. Thanks to Launchbar… IMO much better then the basic spotlight ;)
@BlindGuyTech@adhodgson Cool I have been interested in their accessibility. They seem to be one of the few companies still around that. Allow you to really manage your network the way that I'm used to from years ago.
@RogueAmoeba@focusrite Also planning to record some content showing this with Audio Hijack, which is a most excellent tool for handling audio on macOS. Stay tuned to @payown YouTube channel at https://t.co/Ovfa2HbnEa for more tutorials and tips.
In case you missed it… @RogueAmoeba is celebrating their 20th year in business. Get an automatic 20% off everything, including Loopback, which I used in this video demonstrating routing audio with the Vocaster by @Focusrite https://t.co/Z8N0HIfjo5
Thanks to @damashe for helping me figure out how to get this Vocaster to work with Voiceover and Zoom! The Answer, Loopback! I’ll explain my setup shortly… maybe send into @doubletaponair
@JaneSuh5@PayOwn@DoubleTapOnAir Not in the way that I just set it up. You could of course bring that in, but the point of this was to make sure voiceover wasn't sent over zoom etc..
