@ThatEricAlper Miranda Lambert in a little restaurant in Batesville MS. There were about 20 people there. I also saw Jason Aldean at a Charity event hosted by Kix Brooks before he made it big
As new trade deals come online, there are significant inherited issues that are NOT sustainable and we must take vigorous action to ensure a prosperous farm economy moving forward. 🇺🇸
For example, over the last 4 years alone:
🌱 Seed costs increased by 18%.
⛽️ Fuel and oil costs increased by 32%.
⚡️ Electricity costs increased by 36%.
🚜 Fertilizer costs increased by 37%.
👩🌾 Labor costs increased by nearly 47%.
💵 And interest expenses increased by a whopping 73%.
We can and must do better - And we will. 🇺🇸💪
CIPA strongly supports the provisions in the OBBB that strengthen the farm safety net at a crucial time for farmers and ranchers - and we remain opposed to any attempts that would undermine these provisions. Thank you @JohnBoozman for your tireless efforts on behalf of all of ag!
ICYMI: Last week I joined @agritalk w/ @shaunhaney & the dean of #farm policy @Jim_Wiesemeyer. Among the topics of convo were USDA's first estimates for 2026 cost of production and the #FarmEconomy. 👇

Everyone eats, which means everyone needs American farmers! A strong, new #FarmBill is crucial to provide certainty for these hardworking men and women. Thank you to Jennifer James with @usaricenews for sharing her testimony! @SenateAgGOP@SenateAgDems
The U.S. is facing a third straight year of record ag trade deficits. With 95% of the world’s consumers outside the United States, failing to secure new trade deals is costing farmers dearly.
Nearly 1/3 of farm income depends on exports—we must do better.
Congress provided $10 billion in economic relief for #farmers. Here's a 👀 at national average crop margins with #FarmAct payments included. Today I'll share this perspective and more with leaders of @wheatworld@TerrainAg#oatt https://t.co/9wxEE7s8Aj
ICYMI: America’s farm families are experiencing dire circumstances. The alarm is sounding in rural America.
Producers urgently need meaningful, timely relief.
Food security is national security.
🚨🚨🚨
Congress must include meaningful assistance for farmers, who are facing increasingly dire circumstances, in a year-end package.
Next year, we must prioritize America’s farm families by passing a strong #FarmBill that can provide a real safety net for the future.
"Ounce of prevention or pound of cure?... The time is now to act on meaningful relief for our nation’s farm families." - CSA's Senior Counsel, Mr. Jeff Harrison, in op-ed for @agripulse ⬇️⬇️⬇️

@robert_spalding@IngrahamAngle You obviously don’t appreciate our country’s ability to not only feed our population but also help feed the world. Once we force farmers out of business they don’t come back
When @realDonaldTrump gets me inside the USDA, we're going to give farmers an off-ramp from the current system that destroys soil, makes people sick, and harms family farms.
If you want this to happen as much as I do, PLEASE DONATE TODAY ➡️ https://t.co/YxxGkb2Ulq
A strong #FarmBill with a strong farm safety net is crucial for America’s farm and ranch families - those who give us the safest, most abundant, most affordable food supply.
CIPA was proud to join other key groups in signing this letter calling on Congress to take action.
