@Ceythian We're like 70% there in terms of still pictures. We're maybe 10% there in terms of believable motion and its ease of production. We're not even 1% there in terms of the scale that's possible.
@colingfun@LordofCinder24 The thing about products that exist in the cultural zeitgeist is that people will talk about them because the concencus on what is and isn't allowed in the zeitgeist, on a long enough timescale, defines what becomes zeitgeist.
@ThatNgonGuy People need to understand it's all just triangles and you're only laying down the funny lines to control where those triangles are and how they are shaded.
@skx_doom Do more advanced blurring of the occlusion shadows, integrate it into the fog, add ssao that doesn't overocclude already shaded parts, and you have a winner. If the performance is 50% of Lumen I'd buy and use the plugin in a heartbeat. Hell, even at 100% of Lumen I might still do
@1bird_d Oh, partially opening the roofs in A main and B main would be interesting for some insta smokes which would allow you to contest map control more reliably
@sainimatic There's a lot of expression in brush strokes. Emotional latent space that asks to be explored in each painting. And Commercial art is all about making the customer feel things. AI will have its uses, much like stock photography, but it'll be difficult to use for high end work.
@Jhosep_gamer How come you're not getting artifacts on the edges of your screen? Also, what's the performance like? Would be interesting to know how this compares to Nanite and Get Relief plugin.
@ArtOfPilgrim I would spawn a spline mesh per stroke with a raycast and slowly inflate it, take care of blending through a screen space shader.
Some SDF stuff would probably work best but that's too advanced for me
