There is a sentence that almost never appears in Western coverage:
Under international law, a people under military occupation have the right to resist that occupation.
This is not a controversial claim.
It is in the United Nations Charter.
It is in the Geneva Conventions.
It has been affirmed repeatedly by the UN General Assembly, explicitly referring to "all available means, including armed struggle."
It is the same principle invoked to describe French resistance to Nazi occupation as heroic rather than terrorist.
It is so uncontroversial that it doesn't need to be stated when applied to almost any other occupied people in history.
When applied to Palestinians, it disappears.
Not because it became false.
Because the people who control which sentences appear in the news made a decision about which populations are permitted to have legally recognized rights that are spoken aloud in prime time.
That decision is political.
The silence around it is also political.
The pretense that both are journalistic is the lie inside the lie.
I am the British whistleblower who reported evidence concerning Howard Lutnick, his links to Jeffrey Epstein, and Cantor Fitzgerald and BGC to the FBI in 2020–21.
Listen to the BBC File on 4 documentary about my whistleblower story:

I later shared evidence with the House Oversight Committee, which subsequently questioned Lutnick behind closed doors.
My disclosures also contributed to regulatory action in the US and UK, including a £96m HMRC tax assessment relating to BGC’s partnership scheme. I believe the true tax exposure is substantially higher.
I also reported to the FBI and financial regulators matters involving Cantor Fitzgerald’s Relief Fund and BGC/Cantor’s annual 9/11 Charity Day.
The personal consequences of whistleblowing, and the retaliation I say followed, have been devastating for my family and me.
Mother Jones previously reported that documents I uncovered revealed a years-long business tie between Howard Lutnick, Cantor Fitzgerald and Jeffrey Epstein through AdFin, including a 2018 exchange in which Lutnick and Epstein discussed the company directly:

Follow me here on X and on LinkedIn. I intend to share more of the evidence and the story behind what happened.
Anyone who thinks US involvement in Latin American politics has boosted the left has not bothered to learn a single thing about US involvement in Latin American politics. Or is just lying.
Oh my god enough of this. ENOUGH. For sixteen months we were inundated with bogus Biden PR about how the president is inches away from stopping the genocide so we should actually believe he’s a swell guy. Stop. He’s a genocidal monster. That’s his only legacy. End of story.
@ggreenwald Glenn I understand ur concern & u have a closer feel of the pulse than any of us. But given the right-wing takeover in LatAm - weakening a critical bloc necessary to provide a counterweight to US-Israeli hegemony why r u so disturbed by THIS? Are u 4 Lula or not? If not, why not?
The US empire has installed neocolonial puppet regimes in almost every country in Latin America.
Marco Rubio's State Department published a joint declaration praising the politically motivated arrest of Bolivia's attorney general, who was investigating the crimes committed by right-wing US asset Fernando Cerimedo, who oversaw a massive operation of election meddling, bots, and disinformation in Latin America, who was deeply involved in drug trafficking, and who hired hitmen to try to kill his pregnant ex-girlfriend.
This joint declaration was signed not only by the US but also by the following right-wing puppet regimes:
Argentina
Bolivia
Chile
Colombia
Costa Rica
Dominican Republic
Ecuador
El Salvador
Guyana
Honduras
Panama
Paraguay
Peru
Trinidad and Tobago
The only remaining independent, sovereign governments in Latin America are in Brazil, Cuba, Mexico, and Nicaragua. And the US empire is waging a ferocious war against all of them.
Simon has been found dead, reportedly from "suicide." RIP to Simon and to all whistleblowers who have died too young.
The truth about Lutnick will never die
The US Embassy in Bolivia have been caught paying bribes to legislators in Congress.
Senator Ana Maria Crispin just filmed it happening and confronted the Embassy official. The US is directly passing and blocking laws within Latin American countries.
As a pilot for 20 years I have questions:
- where are the cabin crew here?
- where are the oxygen masks that automatically drop during a rapid emergency descent?
- how did the Capt manage to open the door while being stabbed?
- Omani pilots were not allowed to fly to Israel, why was he allowed?
- how did the offending pilot get a weapon onboard?
- why has this happened so close to elections?
- how are passengers walking around while apparently in a nosedive?
- who else was injured? Nose dives cause significant g force incidents
- why is there two perfectly positioned people recording the incident and not helping?
- why did a plumber take control and not the 2 pilots onboard who would certainly know when an aircraft was in a nosedive?
- why was the plumber speaking in English to Bibi after the flight
- why was he still in his blood soaked clothes 8 hours after the incident
False Flags have been a very effective mechanism to influence public opinion
Hitler burnt down the Reichstag just before his parliament elections and he won the election…changing the course of history.
A full and independent investigation should be carried out here.
Hopefully independent journalist will be allowed to view this too.
Her life experience presents such a striking contrast to the throng of wealthy lawyers that typically comprise our political system.
She sees her job as helping people like her. Chuck Schumer says his job is "to keep the left pro-Israel."
He's refusing to fund her campaign.
