@campbellclaret Alastair, love tree! Listening to your podcast now. You mentioned footie fans after CL final. My publisher’s been trying to get my book on psychology of football fandom to you. I’m a Wolves fan, ex PA Crime Correspondent and psychologist. Can I send you? [email protected]
@MatthewsSimmon1
Hi Matthew. I’ve been trying to get hold of you. I’m a psychologist writing about psychology of football fandom. I expect you are happy after the Cup. I’m not trying to stitch you up. Would you have a quick chat with me?

@campbellclaret Hi Alastair. Don’t suppose you fancy a quick conversation about the psychology of being a football fan for my forthcoming book? I’m a registered psychologist, former PA and Guardian journalist - and passionate Wolves fan!
@MatthewsSimmon1 Hi there - is this the real Matthew Simmons or a fake? I’m a psychologist writing a book about football fandom. About how it completely dysregulates me despite my tears of training! So if it’s really you, would love to chat!
@mfcbish Hi @mfcbish. This really made me laugh. I’m a psychologist and journalist writing a book about psychology of being a fan. Full disclosure: I’m a Wolves fan. Did it ruin your holiday? Do you have 5 mins to talk?
One of the cheapest - and certainly tastiest pound for pound - dishes I've made for a long time. Cabbage, carrot, red pepper, broccoli stalks (cut as discs, give a waterchestnutty texture) stir-fried with garlic, sprinkle of curry powder and fish sauce.
