Billions of people are currently surviving in temperatures between 45 and 50C. This is "only" at a 1.5C global increase. At 2C, these regions will become unbearable for long periods of the year. The lack of a coherent plan for this is shocking. #Mitigation is urgent.

@senglishz Election campaigns do indeed suck and this didn’t need the hoopla it’s got as a promise. Would be great to see campaigns run differently, by all pollies. Still think this is a good idea though.
@georgecardaus It's a start. There's a lot going on around food relief and though it doesn't get the attention in ridiculous political campaigns that all politicians do it's still a pretty good effort in trying to help.
