A busy day yesterday for the team @northstarbuses with early school finishes for the last day of term, school trips to the cinema, and additional buses out to support @My_Metro during the current disruption in Gateshead. Fantastic effort from the entire team.

Together with other operators, we are assisting with an emergency @My_Metro Replacement service between Newcastle and Heworth owing to the current issues in Gateshead.

With 412 (D24 NST) having now passed MOT, we have six blue buses in service which will enable the final two non-liveried buses to be sent away for repaint. 🤩🎨

@garyhunter91 @dl1701 @My_Metro @liamhall24 Haha, there’s a throwback and a half! I remember setting those announcements up, way back when. The Metro Ken audio files came on a CD! It really helped reduce customer confusion, which was the main driving force behind setting them up, after my frustrations when driving the 900!
