@laz_versalles @AndyTFE Kittleson was a former pro I believe. Many, many others. For what its worth USGA seems to be leaning into the "regaining" amateur status thing. Two articles they release highlighting former pros at the US Mid Am

@laz_versalles @AndyTFE Still incredible golfer, and I wish I could send it like him, but the US Mid Am is now full of former pros that regained amateur status
