@hodlonaut@saylor I don’t understand who he is targeting with these messages. Pro 110 folks would not be moved by his messaging (or would become more convicted). Many of his X followers would not be noderunners. So who is he talking to here, and why multiple posts about it?
@88_sats This ep (full of projection and dissonance) was the moment that shook me into not caring what the popular people are saying.

@88_sats c. Many of these people make their living in the industry and therefore have a bias to not threaten their current income streams (which could be linked to those that fund Core, wizards, etc).
d. These people are afraid of being ostracized from the cool kids club.
@derekmross It is absurd to say “your node, your rules” when the entire issue at hand is that everyone else that runs v30+ with defaults is a conduit to storing garbage and potentially worse forever on all nodes.
@derekmross This milquetoast makes it so easy to write off Derek, and it makes me more fervently in favor of 110. I appreciate how straightforward it is. “i believe it’s a dumb call, sets a bad precedent” + “running v28” is so lame.
@ForrestHODL@GrassFedBitcoin Someone who is against the soft fork but seems to have thought through the game theory part of this is @SuperTestnet. I infer Mechanic is cordial with him, too.
@leo_haf@oomahq@Jacobsen17T@start9labs very cool! I need to read up and learn how to package s9pks so I can pitch in, particularly StartOS 0.4.0. Is this a candidate for packaging for the new StartOS?
@BobMurphyEcon Your recent episode with Haman reminded me of your They Live episode. I recall you had similar comments in that one, regarding the public not being moved to action.

@K0gen@start9labs@Bitwarden Thanks for sharing. I'm still having issues with the iOS app (also 2025.12.1 - 2845). I am able to connect via browser. The iOS app alternates between reporting that what I'm attempting to connect to is not a recognized Bitwarden server and that my master password isn't right.
@sportsrapport The ideal replay review process (baseball, football, basketball, soccer): replays only in real speed. No freeze frames, no slow motion. Real speed from any angle. It should make the process quicker and would only overturn on obvious mistakes.
