@SunampLtd Hi - I'm interested why you have manufacturer / device specific heat pump models? Can't a Sunamp device just be charged with a generic HP coil through the battery?
Is it something to do with control from the HP; could that be forfeited to use a different HP?
@eLEJOG@SunampLtd Thanks. So it's not simple as hot water in a coil melting the PCM?
Why does the Sunamp need to communicate with the HP? Why not let the HP decide when to turn on/off depending on an old school thermostat?
I might have missed something about how HPs do DHW. Do UVCs do this too?
@ArchTesta @wdmbox Yep... although then of course there's the political level which does rely on individual perceptions of risk to an extent - "I'm not voting for them, they want to wrap my house in polystyrene / make it hermetically sealed / get rid of my Aga" etc.
@wdmbox You have to admit it sounds a bit blase to be casting around sums like this as if 10-100k on a retrofit (for even a small/medium house) is not one of the largest expenses any family will ever take on...
Right?
@CalJamieson (This is a genuine offer) If you're willing to listen, I can tell you why your final sentence is incorrect. If you're not, I'll just move on.
@baldwinbiogas In what way is this a "curve ball"? This has been known and discussed for years... decades even!
"Builders" (if you mean volume house builders) know about this and chose repeatedly to not do it. It would mean high short term investment in skills and lower dividend payments.
@h_schreiber Apple's leniency seems to have ended now, so I'm unable to build a notarized version again. Will be looking at using a more recent JDK such as those listed at https://t.co/fBa5SppR1K
@h_schreiber Thanks for your work on app notarization for Java apps. Just tried with an oldish Java 8 runtime and all the errors you reported in https://t.co/vnFSWQYkaj are "warning" and notarization succeeds. Were you aware of that, have you tried it recently?
@benjaksonuk @anelso157 congrats to you, the team and all the consortium on your new venture, hope to be in soon to sample how the coffee has changed (not much, I hope!).
