Strange but true story at #CellBio2022@ASCBiology! The oocyte midbody has a strange asymmetric structure, different from that of mitotic cells, that retains translation of maternal mRNAs. Check out @dan_gyu ‘s poster P1169/B175 to see it for yourself!
