@stclairashley This used to be an app where I could check in on actors and writers who mattered to me. Now it’s 100% inside references to the owner of the company, who I also don’t follow.

But after I read the last page of this Dr. Strange, I felt I had personally been shown the intimate workings of the universe… and I’ve never been dissuaded from that feeling.
I mean, by this time I’d read my dad’s copy of FF 51 “This Man, This Monster”… and I got that comics could be epic, dramatic, touching, and mind-bending…

@Chloe_in_pink I started reading with my dad’s Silver Age comics, so: Kirby/ Lee FF. It seemed 3-dimensional in both character and design. By the time you get to Galactus, it’s an immersive world. There’s nothing really like it that isn’t direct imitation.
