How much do pitchers miss the bat by? Is the bat over the ball or under? Tied up, or flailing? Is the batter early? Or late?

A few smaller things up on Baseball Savant from the great @danabennett while we work on some much bigger things
1) You can do run value/100 pitches now, if you like rate stats. So, best RV/100 on pitch types thrown at least 250 times (https://t.co/rdxrfKAZiK)
We just dropped a new "leaderboard" and visual for MLB's pitch timer infractions. If you are curious how frequently these violations occur, check it out here: https://t.co/HGFU94TFJT
5/2 is @SlangsOnSports birthday. A very special day for a very special person. This is A Langs Star. (ALS) On June 2 of this year, Lou Gehrig day, we all will be able to light a star for Sarah to help find a cure. @MLB@ProjectALSorg. Stay tuned for details.Happy birthday bud!
On, the leaderboard, @danabennett did a great job showing the huge relationship between distance from 2B for the runner and pop time.

I'm really excited about this feature!
Tons to look into, here's an example of sweeper movement compared to sliders, by all pitchers that have thrown at least 50 of one or the other.

ICYMI yesterday: you can now search on pitch movement numbers at Baseball Savant. Short form, long form, in, out, whatever you like.
So here's batters in 2022-23 who have had to face the most 97MPH+ pitches that moved at least 10 inches away from them

@joemadison89@tangotiger@thorn_john Ah! Thanks for pointing me in this direction (https://t.co/uWe1FVWseC)
It's the same ratio, but his is a way less contrived sample!
On Pi Day last year, I wondered whether any MLB player ever finished a season with a batting average of 31416. Found Scoops Carey, with Washington Senators of 1902. Carey is indeed the baseball face of pi: while his 1902 batting average rounds to 31416, it extends to 31415929.
Happy Day! From August 5th 2018 through May 16th 2021 Xander Bogaerts got 355 hits in 1130 plate appearances. That was good for a batting average of .3141592...
Hello again twitter! Anything new in the last three years?
If you are finding me from SABR, I may dust this account off occasionally, but don’t expect much.
