"Nobody cares how fast you can throw if you can't throw it in the strike zone."

Same applies for the bat speed: you really need to know how much you can square up the ball. Which we also provide.
highest % of swings that are squared-up, 2024:
Luis Arraez: 43.5%
Nolan Schanuel: 40.9%
Nicky Lopez: 39.3%
Juan Soto: 39.2%
Mookie Betts: 39.0%
Jung Hoo Lee: 37.1%
Steven Kwan: 37.1%
squared up: reached at least 80% of possible exit velocity based on bat speed & pitch speed
WHY WE CARE - MLB results on squared-up swings: .367 BA, .644 SLG, 56.9% hard-hit rate
Is it interesting that the Chicago Cubs are dead last in MLB in rate of 4sm/sinker thrown 95MPH+ ... and the Iowa Cubs are *first* in AAA? I think so.

(On those pitch types: If you followed live data last summer and found the automated results janky, yes, they were. A ton of work has been put into cleaning them up, thanks @alexfast8. Hit us up or @MLBPitchClass with any questions on that.)

So if you want to see things like "hey, did the Yankees AAA team throw the highest rate of their sliders with more than 12 inches of break," hoo boy yes they did

Minor League Statcast search is complete for AAA/2023, partial AAA/2022, and Statcast-enabled Single-A from 2021-23. It's not 100% of everything, but it is nearly 2 million pitches, and that's a lot.

Many will!
Just remember so many of these P are brand new to the system, so if real-time pitch tagging is iffy, know it'll be cleaned up
