@Jeff_Palouse @GMRench @douglaswils I think he is not talking about Jesus’ gender, but how he models both femininity and masculinity, as God is outside his creation. We (both male and female) are made in His image, and it makes sense that Jesus would model
aspects of Biblical masculinity and femininity.

@davidwbalch @TJSumpter He is saying that without emotional self-control, kids grow up to be disturbed teens and adults. Spanking (not beating/hitting) is a tool given us by God to help us train our children to honor God above themselves and their emotions.

@mmmirele @TJSumpter Because a parent can’t catechize and discipline while in service. I take my toddler to the room, talk to him about his behavior, administer a few swats, hug him, have him pray and ask God for disobeying mom/dad, and then we both joyfully go back into corporate worship.
