How have DC residents described @MayorBowser's raiding of climate funds in the budget so far?
"an elaborate shell game"
"broken promises"
"a betrayal"
"money laundering"
We're looking to Cm @charlesallen & ultimately @ChmnMendelson to right this wrong.
The American Gas Association is using money from your gas bills to support misinformation campaigns and fan the flames of the climate crisis. Your bills shouldn’t have to rise while the temperatures do—that’s why I joined @GasLeaksProject today to call out this issue.
@weact4ej "wholeheartedly believes that it is within the Commission's authority and jurisdiction to address environmental justice in a substantive way. And yet, @FERC’s consistent failure to do so speaks volumes,”

Dear @Amtrak@AmtrakNECAlerts@AmtrakAlerts I just boarded 3:45 PM NE #122 to NYC and have a business class seat - why am I sitting in filth? Disgusting and unacceptable for anyone and especially for the business class seat rates paid in this corridor!
If Fani Willis had a conflict of interest because a man might have paid for a meal or a flight, imagine how serious it would be if a Supreme Court justice heard cases related to an election his wife had tried to overturn.
Trump seems to be counting on the three justices he “chose” for appointment to the Supreme Court to get him out of trouble. But did Trump really choose them? Or was Trump the chump, in someone else’s game? Let’s have a look.
.@danagleeson highlights the importance of engaging with environmental justice communities early and often when developing solutions. We can’t cause more harm for the sake of progress. #ClimateHealth2024
What an unreal Grammy week to say the least. There were so many laughs, tears, hugs, and cheers that it almost doesn’t seem real. From the hotel hangs and rehearsals, to the dinners and post show pizza, the vibes were HIGH. I want to thank my whole team for working tirelessly to make this happen and my wife for always being by my side, I love you. When it comes to the performance it’s still hard to process how amazing it really was to be up there on that stage. No doubt a defining moment of my career. Tracy, I want to send my sincerest thanks to you for allowing me to be a part of your moment. Thank you for the impact you have had on my musical journey, and the musical journeys of countless other singers, songwriters, musicians, and fans alike. I hope you felt how much you mean to the world that night. We were all in awe of you up there and I was just the guy lucky enough to have the best seat in the house.

As congressional attacks move this week on the Admins historic pause on #LNG#LiquefiedNaturalGas export facilities, it's more important than ever to remember real lives impacted & make sure this becomes permanent ban. (thanks to @RepBarragan) Learn more: https://t.co/PKKET3RTHG
Yesterday, the Supreme Court heard arguments on whether it will overturn the Chevron doctrine—a 40-year-old doctrine that's critical to a functioning federal government.
Let me explain 🧵
Today, extreme MAGA Republicans kicked me out of a House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee hearing on Cuba because I dared to share my perspective.
Republicans silenced me because they’re scared of a Black woman who always speaks truth to power. But no matter what anti-democratic tactics they employ, I refuse to be silenced.
This #MLKDay, the #FBI honors one of the most prominent leaders of the Civil Rights movement and reaffirms its commitment to Dr. King’s legacy of fairness and equal justice for all.
Formosa Plastics is responsible for violating environmental, health, and human rights at home in St. James, in Texas, and abroad in Vietnam. That's why we're in DC today: to demand justice for ALL victims of this corporate polluter. https://t.co/aUGucd96AC
