Next up, Sara Andres & Jonathan Stokes are collaborating to design inhibitors with machine learning for Pseudomonas aeruginosa DNA repair proteins. They are looking to discover new lead drug candidates to treat P. aeruginosa infections.
“I am very thankful to the IIDR for this opportunity to pursue my research goals of addressing the issue of antimicrobial resistance in Dr. Andres’ lab this summer,” says Asha Subramaniam. Asha is excited to contribute to research that will make a difference in people's lives.
