Alex and Dan spent most of today with Tobi & Robert from live2give & Mike Kettle contractor working out best way to turn our cover crop into a mulch bed for tomato transplants. Hay mower followed by flail mulcher won. Next step aerating to heave dense soil after a wet few seasons
@waynepech Looks identical to mine, so nice to drive! 80+% of charging is at home. From 9pm to midnight is $0.00 and that's 120km. On big trips $0.40 - 0.90/kwh depending on region & charging speed. Can always find lunch while charging. To date, 23,500km averages < $0.03/km.
My graduate student is looking at cultivation, electrical weeding and both strategies used in combination for perennial weed control in an organic orchard. Hereβs some preliminary results.
