@nickstenning It's not that clean cut for me. Even legal aside - maintaining a cohesive team, which is also large enough for rotations, is really really hard across differences of more than 5hrs. Something or someone is going to suffer. I'd choose not to nowadays.

@alloydwhitlock As much as I'll hate on shell scripting, those are at least easy to reason about problems when most people have some familiarity with shell. Make is a weird parallel universe that tricks you until thinking it's familiar.
