Berdasarkan maklumat terkini daripada Kementerian Kewangan dan Laporan Ketua Audit Negara, Kerajaan Malaysia dijangka akan terus menanggung dan membayar hutang 1MDB sehingga tahun 2039.

Berdasarkan garis masa rasmi daripada Kementerian Kewangan, tempoh keseluruhan Kerajaan Malaysia perlu menanggung hutang 1MDB adalah selama 22 tahun.

Hingga kini (Disember 2025), kita telah melalui kira-kira 8 tahun pembayaran, dan masih berbaki 14 tahun lagi sebelum beban kewangan ini tamat sepenuhnya.

I’ve said it before: time will come. Time never hides, delays or cheats—humans do.
For instance, has @MuhyiddinYassin’s son-in-law avoided appearing before the MACC? Will he be brought back to face investigation? Time will come & only time will tell. No?

The prosecution began on 28 August 2019.

Today, 26 December 2025, the High Court—presided over by Judge Collin Lawrence Sequerah—ruled that the prosecution had proven its case beyond reasonable doubt on all 25 charges: four counts of abuse of power and 21 counts of money laundering against former prime minister @NajibRazak.

Najib may still appeal to the Court of Appeal and the Federal Court. But today’s High Court verdict gives many of us reason for relief—not to celebrate his fate, but to acknowledge that justice has been served.

I won’t stop anyone—be it Najib’s defenders, supporters, or sympathisers—from feeling sad, disappointed, or even annoyed. But no one should tell me how I’m supposed to feel—not people from the other side, not even PMX @anwaribrahim, and certainly not the self-absorbed #Ceplos.

I asked friends: sympathy for Najib, or disgust at his crime? Every one said the latter. That convinced me I'm not alone.
