I have been spoiled using the IDEs from JetBrains. Iโm over here using Xcode and the error messages are the most obtuse and unhelpful I have seen in a long time. At least 20% should really say โSomething is wrong in this file, but this error is here to mislead you. Good luck!โ ๐คจ

To prove the books were copied and used for training, would likely require access to the training data, or output from the model that contains information from the books not otherwise publicly available.
Interesting lawsuit but the exhibits are pretty weak. A Google search for summaries/reviews/synopsis of the books returns a lot of results including Wikipedia pages. All of this public content could have been ingested and used to train the model.
In case you're new at this:
- Canonicals don't manage crawl
- Noindex doesn't manage crawl
- Server redirects don't manage crawl
Crawl can be managed through:
- 4xx HTTP status
- robots.txt directives
- other server configs
